Google Maps Cube Game

12.05.01 – In this Chrome Experiment we’ve taken some inspiration from classic mazes and created a WebGL game showcasing one of our absolute favorite products: Google Maps!

Travel through a cubic New York, Tokyo and many other cities while learning about the great features of Maps. Using product features as game elements – like using subway stations as portals – we created a game that gradually becomes more advanced as you play it. The game was built with WebGL, Javascript, Audio API and HTML/CSS.
