Covid-19 has fast-forwarded the development of the industry’s needs in our direction. More and more top brands are looking to take advantage of the B-Reel secret sauce - our tech and innovation hunger, our cultural savvy, especially with digital natives, and our commitment to craft across all media. Some of the brands we work with are Carolina Herrera, Save The Children, H&M, Google, Brex, Vimeo, Native Instrument, Storytel, IKEA, Stokke, Moncler, Berluti, Uninterrupted, Afterpay….the list goes long, and we are proud to work with very, very dynamic brands. 

We are looking for a Talent and Recruitment Manager to help us continue shaping our ever-evolving team. This position can be based either in LA or NYC and sometimes requires travels to the other office. The role is central to our success and will demand lots of energy, passion, time spent in industry gatherings and out meeting people, as well as focused clever planning and strategizing together with top brass at B-Reel.

The role of the Talent and Recruitment Manager is to have responsibility for driving our employer branding, US recruitment and retention strategy. He/she is responsible for developing our approach to fostering the right internal culture and building our teams with the world’s most interested people. This position will be measured on time to hire, number of great hires, employee retention and number of spontaneous applications from relevant talent.

Your role will be


  • Maintain and improve recruitment process, including securing diversified recruitment
  • Recruitment of staff and interns in LA and NYC (creation of recruitment briefs, creation of ads, candidate scanning, candidate communication, screening, interviewing, collecting feedback, hiring team communication)
  • New hire negotiation and constructing compensation packages
  • Attend campus recruitment events
  • Host and plan student nights
  • Initiate and drive employer branding initiatives
  • Represent B-Reel in the right fora for connecting with talent of all seniority levels. 

Talent and culture

  • Career planning for targeted current employees in liaison with MD’s and managers
  • Oversee internship program
  • Training employees and managers in ATS
  • Answering general questions from candidates about policies etc (parental leave, vacation, sick days). Detailed questions are directed to our HR Generalist.
  • Develop and manage US employer branding, IRL and online.
