Smart watch faces

The Movado Group, one of the world's premiere watchmakers, approached B-Reel to bring their luxury timepieces into the smartwatch world. Well-known for the iconic Museum dial watch, the aim was to bring the brand into the digital space while maintaining Movado’s powerful reductionist design philosophy.

Movado has a unique heritage and audience and our goal was to stay true to the brand while taking advantage of the digital format. By simulating depth, adding motion and using the new Android Wear 2.0 platform we were able to create smartwatch faces worthy of the Movado name. These watch faces debuted at Baselworld 2017 and will be in stores later this year.

The watch was the only smartwatch named to the New York Times "16 Noteworthy Watches from Baselworld"
